We have more to show of our visit to the Sunshine State. Now that we're home, we are informed that it rained in California virtually the whole time we were gone, so you can expect some canyon waterfall photos in the days to come.

| The little golf carts were our transportation around the beach walkways much of the time, and in the evening, when it got chilly, they had clear side flaps to keep out the breeze. The drivers were mostly retired volunteers. Fun! |

| There is a nature conservancy with a hospital. These pelicans are recuperating. We saw lots of pelicans, but never seemed to have the camera ready when they flew by. |

| On our 2nd to last day, we took another kayak trip, this time into the Gulf before heading up the outflow into the mangrove forest again. |
