Leaving Mom's to head back to New York City

Tom left Monday, and we left Tuesday, with fond farewells; heading back for our last night in NYC.

Jeffery added more little ornaments to Mom's tree

this is for Sharon - the tree before it's lit.  No ornaments on it, but tons of lights.  Note, the scaffolding is gone from around the tree.

all the bell ringers danced to music, so we had to donate

I discovered another unseen place in Central Park!  How did I miss this?  The refurbished band shell is in the background

pretty decorations

this was a real lady, skating in the front corner window of a huge store, can't recall which one (I looked it up and know now that the store was Barney's, and the designer of the windows was Baz Luhrmann and his wife

another window had this mechanical owl in it, which was bigger as me at 8 feet tall

Barney's doorway overhanging decorations

Sara introduced these moving "yard artworks" to me on Facebook months ago, and we got to see them in action.  They were totally mesmerizing!

Here's another shot of the magical art works, wish I could show them in motion

I will be posting one more day in NYC, with the Christmasy views for you to enjoy.  I can't help putting it all here, because I wish you to see the Excess, and the Magic.  I wonder what happens to all the decorations after the holiday, and we ponder the electricity needed to put on the show that is a big city at Christmas!
