the Middle of January

Tax-prep, rainy days, staying close to home; it makes for fewer photos or exciting tales, so I'll offer a few views of the span of days, up to and including this past weekend's Robert Burns Dinner, which was a fun weekend with Jeffery's Mom as well.

Roger Settlemire, our Plumas County Chapter "chief" is honored as the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans "Scot of the Year".  We Plumas folks were sure proud.

Roger has given his humble speech, and then he honors dear Beverly Donato, who has been his partner in organizing the Plumas Chapter, and his help-meet in all the fun these two people have shared with us all.
