I've Been Here Long Enough to Use up my Week-long Metro Card

I hope I'm not getting repetitive.  The days spent touring the city seem so various to me, with all there is to see, and all the different doorways, architecture, neighborhoods, and people; I never get tired of it.  I caught myself running my hand along the iron fences on the streets, and if I'd had a stick, I'd have used it, to see what different noises came out.  I might have even skipped as I did it.

Yesterday got muggy and hot, so I went to Prospect Park and wandered the shady paths, which took me to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.  I like it that I can go out as far and wide as I like, and then the subway will take me home.  I really need to learn the bus routes/schedules.

The subways have been "art-i-fied" to make residents proud and to prevent graffiti, so I will be submitting some of the tile delights for your enjoyment.

We'll be heading south to Virginia tomorrow, so the sights will alter drastically!
