A few views from the home-world

Today, I hiked with Brenda up the Tobin Ridge road.  We attained a further distance and higher elevation than we'd ever (together) done before on that trek, so my time in NYC has not drained me of my abilities. In fact, it may be that today's easier climb was directly attributable to my climbs up and down the numerous stairways to and from the City's subways, as well as along the many hill-and-dale park paths.

Otherwise, I've not been using my camera too often since returning home, so my views are only a handful.
I did have the experience of having as osprey flying very low towards and above me as I drove up to get the mail, and he was clutching a thrashing fish!  It made me laugh to think of how startled and bewildered I'd have been had a wet fish suddenly fallen onto my windshield, if I hadn't seen the osprey beforehand.

Belden is having another big do.

this crowd is only a fraction of the size it would be when the party really got going on Saturday

every pullout near Belden was posted with these signs, due to a few prior events having parking problems for the highway travellers' sake.

For Jeffery, one of the grapevines

also for Jeffery; this is the particular clump I was talking about; the one that really needs thinning.

the Wash-house grape vine; with grapes on it. (you can't see them, but they're there.)
