Flag Raising Gathering at Tobin

This mornin we held a little flag ceremony, with Grover as our impetus and our veteran flag bearer.  The few of us got together to share the solemn moment with the smoke and flames of the Bear Fire (North Complex wildfires) on the mountain in the far distance to the south.  The crews will guard us all through the day, and we also have a night crew.  We honor them and their admirable efforts to keep us and our little village safe, so this was our salute to the Responders! Photos mostly taken by Jeffery, some by me.

It's a sign of things to come, apparently.
