I am back in California, where the thermometer reads 101 instead of 73, and the land and air is sere, rather than humid and green. Uncle Groovy kept my garden alive, and Dick kept my cat fed, so all is well with the world. It's quiet; so quiet here. And fragrant, too. I look forward to re-acquainting myself with this world.
