High Sierra Music Festival - Part 2

Day 2 and some of Day 3 of Festival, and since I've shown you so many photos in years past, I'll try not to tell the same story again, and keep it to interesting views.  However, these pictures barely tell of the smile-creating things we saw and experienced, and since this is my scrapbook, I can't help myself.

I got up around 5 a.m. to see the kick-ball game and the quiet world with the last of the night's revelers headed to bed.

Bubble-blowers near the kick-ball, which was too hard to photograph due to low light and action

Life's blood on the way for me back at camp!

I wondered if these might be "famous people"

Jeffery talked to this fellow about his Teardrop rental.  Pretty cool, eh?

We went back to our tent for snacks and to cool off, but it was a pretty darn hot day

We went to the shade of the Yoga meadow and this young man helped us walk on the tight-rope

met up with Dave M. and walked around a bit, stopping a while at this fun booth, where people tried the wares

One of the few night-time photos that turned out okay.  We ended up at JJ Grey and Mofro late that night, having heard the Thievery Corporation before we wended all around the night doin's.
 On to Day 3:
One of our neighbors, David, arrives back to his tent in his grandmother's fabulous coat after an all-nighter
We went to Sara's for our traditional Saturday shower and porridge

Our first find of the day was the Gipsy Moon band, which was one of my top 5 shows

We met the couple on the right at the Krewe d' Roux Camp dinner later that night, and when I complimented them on their show, they were so humble and  lovely about it.

loved the color and shine on this bass fiddle

Another water-hippie moment

Steve Poltz and Paige Clem were another favorite.  If you haven't heard of Steve Poltz, check him out.

I think I'll finish this post now, half-way through our Saturday, so that I don't overwhelm.  But I have more to show you!
