Yesterday, Jeffery and I had an early run/walk, then a rest, then we headed to Harlem and thence, to the Bronx. We beat ourselves up, got wet in an open fire hydrant with a bunch of kids, got caught in a quick downpour, and had a lovely Chinese dinner. It was a hot day, but we found many places to cool off. And, Sharon: I hope some of these photos bring back memories.

I love all your photos, but I have a special fondness for the one of the staircase at Marcus Garvey Park. Oh, and where does the water go that drains off the Brooklyn Bridge?
