Once more into the fray!

I am again with Jeffery, for a week this time.  It was a relaxing overnight flight, and then, there I was, back among the crowds and scheduled transports, and then, I see Jeffery, and it's all fine again. We've kept busy, and today is raining, so I'll put up a few photos for the memories.  The first three are from Jeffery's participation in the People's Climate March on 9/21, before I arrived.

Here comes the people!

The March turned off Central Park South onto 6th Ave.

Coming up out of the subway into light reflected from the pink building above. Wonder how many days of the year this happens at this particular spot.

The Waldorf Astoria on Lexington from 48-49th St. was where many dignitaries stayed for the Climate Meeting at the U.N., which made the whole area a warren of barricades, blocked streets and police presence galore.

The Helmsley Building, seen from the roof deck of the Yale Club.

No photos allowed, U.J. took a few.  This is Riquia and Chris in the room where we had drinks, which had portraits of the U.S. Presidents who attended Yale.

Jeffery and I read the Alumni magazine avidly........actually, we were stuffed full of dinner and wanted proof of our actually having been here.
