After the stress of planning to go; of getting everything done before-hand; and getting to the airport and onto the plane; being here in NYC is the easy part. Here I am. What will I do today? Well, I arrived early on Thursday, and here it is Saturday morning. I spent all day yesterday in Central Park, and when Jeffery got home, we went to see the Faberge Egg Hunt eggs on display. Here are some photos.

| In an article I read, I learned about the Egg Hunt, and about the artist that did this egg. His whole life and all his art was destroyed by a house fire, but this egg was out hiding in NYC, so it is all he has left of his art. |

Dorothy, you make me want to come to NYC! Great photos! Interesting toilet! And I'm glad you found your place to get lost in serenity! (((Hugs)))
ReplyDeleteLOVE Central Park -- and loved those eggs.
ReplyDeleteThe blue flowers are hellebore. There are lots of gorgeous varieties in luscious colors that bloom early in the spring.
