Grizzly Creek

It was fate that decided it.  I always, always wish to stop, but never do.  I keep on going.  Today was to be the same, but I was caught between a slow car in front of me, and a fast sports-car behind, so I decided to pull out at long last.  Here is what I wanted to look at, enjoy, and show you in photographs.

Here's the pull-out on the right, which is daunting at 50 mph, or even 40 mph. but today, I was going slow enough.

This is the view, or part of it.

the creek flows through here, under the highway, to the river

lovely clear water

Here is a "window" into the cavern through which the creek flows

Look over the wall and down to the water

I liked this view

My attempt to make it all seem "artful"

Rock climbers use this wall.  A sign use to tell them to stay 50 feet away from the highway, but I didn't see it today.

Much of the bottom of the climbing mountain is pocked with these core sample bore holes (guess)
