Spring is here!

A few canyon spring shots before I take you with me to San Francisco and Oakland to be with my kids!

Dog woods amidst the wild currant bushes, which are everywhere!

Dogwoods just beginning to come on strong

a cool rock bluff shedding itself

the view from our San Francisco hotel room - the window actually opened about 6 inches!

the pictures on the front of this theater were of bare-chested, hunky men

the view out the window of the Turkish restaurant Kyria took us to for dinner

a handsome building seen on our walk

Hey!  Welcome!

A view from The View; the bar at the top of our hotel; the Marquis.  The Bay Bridge is visible in the lower left.

We met up with Matt and Wendie at the Legion of Honor; this is the back of the building

Matt, Kyria, and Wendie look out to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Marin Headlands on our walk to Land's End.  We saw two dolphins swimming below us.

The Cliff House and the ruins of the marvelous Sutro Baths

My young'uns being photo bombed down near the Sutro Baths

A beach ball was caught in the surf crashing into this opening created by wave action long ago.

On our way to a nice lunch of Pho

Kyria and I decided to finish our day with a walk out to the old Bay Bridge, which is being torn down.

Me getting my historic Bay Bridge photo

A marvelous tangle

At Heather and Kyria's home, we tried to teach Emi how to use the dog door; to no avail.  Had to tape it back up for her.

Breakfast in Montclaire with Heather, Maria, Kyria, and Grandma Barbara

After the girls and dogs walked me for 6 or 7 miles, we all had a treat and a drink of water.
