Twas the day before Thanksgiving

The weather was frightful, but we had to get out and see the sights.  Along the way, we found several indoor worlds where you could go from place to place without facing the elements.  Later in the day, we went to Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes Christmas Extravaganza.  Wow!  I loved it.  I also loved watching the little kids, who I thought were too young to enjoy it, but they got caught up in it, and watched avidly.  To finish our T-day eve, we met up with Chris Keesling for dinner and a tour of some of the pre-parade balloons, which had been blown up to be ready for the morning.
Here's some of our day

Central Park still has some fall colors; Thanksgiving colors

Wollman Ice Skating Rink is ready

I convinced Jeffery to purchase a rain poncho, which kept his coat dry; nice when you have to put it back on later, as I did; only my coat was still wet, because I didn't use the poncho I'd brought with me

Another pretty autumn shot of Central Park

Madison Avenue; Tiffany's on the left

In this nice warm atrium, we warmed up, got a little dry, and had a cuppa and some conversation

Talbots looked so pretty

Saks Fifth Avenue

Rockefeller Center, as it began to mix snow with the rain

They are setting up the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.  They light it the day after we head home

Us at the Rockettes Christmas show!

I attempted to take a surreptitious photo of a Rockette, but was blocked.  I love this guy!

The Stage at Radio City; it looks so different than it did during America's Got Talent

Some of the many police officers stationed along the route where we viewed the big Parade balloons

Sponge Bob Square Pants!

Chris, me, and Jeffery at the pre-Parade viewing

even the little balloons are ready; with a big wet blur on my lens that looks like a full moon.
Okay, tomorrow I'm ready for the Parade!  What fun to be here!
