Flowers, Doorways, and Noticed Things

Took a particularly early walk this morning, and saw that every day brings out more flowers in people's gardens and in the parks, and simply everywhere.  It's like going to the Fair to view the competition gardens.  I love it!  The hydgrangeas are just hinting at blue, and there's lots more to come, obviously.  I guess NYC pays to have fresh plantings done in all the parks, to fill in where native plants don't; so it's as if one day, the world bloomed overnight.
Barbara noted that the fire plugs here aren't red!  Proof shown.
