Greenwood Cemetary and Coney Island

After our big day yesterday, Jeffery and I felt pretty weary, so we took it easy today.  Rode out to the highest spot in Brooklyn, which is Battle Hill, in the middle of the Greenwood Cemetary.  This huge burial park houses 500,000 plus graves, and was as big a tourist draw as Niagara Falls in its early days.  That fact spurred the creation of Central Park and other public green places in the city.  It was awesome in size, but we saw another huge cemetary, just more densely packed, as we headed to Coney Island.

Coney Island is like Times Square; packed with people and glitz.  We stepped into the water, enjoyed the Boardwalk and the sights, listened to screams, laughter, oohs and ahhs, and music; ate our Nathan's Famous hotdog, cheese fries (Gross!) and lemonade (yum), and got out of there.  Too busy for me, but I'm glad I saw it.
P.S. Papaya's makes a better hot dog and for a third of the price.  Just sayin'
