Rainy day

We're getting steady light rain now, expecting a storm later, as Tropical Storm Andrea goes by.  I watched and participated in the excellant umbrella dance that is a rainy day in any big city.  Came home with my feet soaked.  Thank gosh it's warm out.  Last night Jeffery showed me the High Line walkway which is very interesting; a section of elevated railroad track from years gone by, turned into a walkway park full of interesting sights.

Finally, I give you 2 glimpses of the peril of a rainy day; when you think being under a roadway is a way to stay dry.  It's Not!  Not this bridge, any way.  I saw it ahead of time, thank gosh, but it comes in waves, like the ocean.  The multi-level freeway allows cars to get you at two levels.
