Jeffery's Unwinding Part One - Day One

I may overwhelm you with photos from Jeffery's voyage of debriefing.  After 7 months of life in NYC, this trip down Hwy 395 and hither and yon was the very thing he needed, as he illustrates through the pictures he took!  Here, let me show you:

Leaving Plumas County

Had to stop at REI in Reno for a few things, most importantly, a bear canister for food to go in to inside the backpack.

Jeffery has turned off of 395 and is headed in to Devil's Postpile and Mammoth Mountain.  He said his destination is in the valley-cut he's above in the photo

I would love to pave my world with these!

Rainbow Falls, which looks small, but is over 100 feet tall.

Can you find Jeffery?

the wavy sections give you an idea of the strange formation that is this postpile.  How did it form like this?

I'll give you these, and put up more right away.  Tomorrow, Jeffery heads to Mt. Whitney to meet up with the kids and hike to the top.
